In 2020, total number of occupational accidents occurred at all HOYA group facilities was 190 including 101 accidents resulted in leave from work. For the purpose of preventing occupational accidents, the Hoya Group conducts daily safety and health activities by implementing risk reduction measures based on the results of risk assessment. Additionally, the HOYA group is globalizing with its production bases gradually advancing abroad. In FY 2013, the group introduced a system for all group facilities to effectively utilize information on occupational accidents, enabling the entire group to share information on all occupational accidents at all group facilities.
